Hello Friends of Two By Two!

2019 has been a fulfilling year for us. As we've communicated before, we are thankful to be back in Central Arkansas and in Conway in particular. The Lord allowed us to return as members of Second Baptist Church, but this time as "normal" members rather than a staff minister. We have been able to enjoy those long held friendships and relationships and have been able to step in and immediately begin to offer marriage ministry in our local church. In January, we were thrilled to offer "The Art of Marriage" as a mid-week class. We had over 25 couples sign up and most of them stayed with us throughout the 8 weeks! Several mentioned to us how they felt their relationships were strengthened and for that we are very grateful. We have also been able to meet on a regular basis with couples, some in conflict, others are engaged and preparing for their wedding and marriage. We're thankful to see the progress that has happened in these relationships. Also, we have been a part of facilitating "The Art of Marriage" for ministry couples here in Arkansas. Thanks to the generosity of Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro, these couples can come to this two-night retreat at Camp Paron completely free of charge! It's been great to love and encourage these warrior couples and to come alongside them as peers and co-laborers in the Kingdom. We know from the feedback that God has done some great things at these retreats. MINISTRY COUPLES "THE ART OF MARRIAGE" RETREAT

In addition to these retreats, we were privileged to host a "Pastor Date Night", partnering with Lifeway and Second Baptist Church, Conway. These ministry couples enjoyed a great meal, lots of resources, and the opportunity to ask important questions (anonymously) of seasoned ministry couples.....all at no cost. It was a great evening of ministry! 2020 will bring other opportunities for ministry. We are scheduled to lead "For Couples Only" in the Spring for Second Baptist, Conway. We have several "The Art of Marriage" retreats on the calendar for ministry couples. We will continue to meet with couples as marriage coaches and will also mentor both husbands and wives as the opportunities present themselves. Most of these ministry opportunities are not able to fund an honorarium for us. We are able to volunteer our investment of time because of YOU!
